
Kerala State Information Technology Mission is an autonomous nodal IT implementation agency for Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala.
The overall vision of State IT mission is to make Kerala a digitally inclusive State in India by a robust and effective governance framework.
A history of 19 years which guided Kerala in its journey through the ICT revolution.


High Power IT Committee (HPIC) acts as one of the major factor to take Kerala IT to its greater heights. The objective is to bring a structure for the growth of IT in the state, focus on the development of the IT infrastructure and work towards bringing a radical change in Kerala’s IT Industry. The HPIC comprises of top level leaders from the IT Industry who have contributed much for the growth of Information Technology sector in India, they will act as brand ambassadors for Kerala’s IT industry and promote the State in the global IT marketplace. State Level Apex Committee on e-Governance is responsible for overall guidance, deciding policy level matters, and to act as final body for approving all issues relating to eGovernance Project implementation. Governing Body of KSITM is chaired by the Honorable Minister for IT, who acts as a regulatory authority for all e-Governance activities. Secretary, Electronics & Information Technology Department is the chairman of the Executive Committee of KSITM. KSITM Executive Committee has the authority to make decisions and ensures that these decisions are carried out. The Director of KSITM is the convener of the meetings of General Body and Executive Committee.

The DPDP Workshop for the IT ecosystem was commenced with an inaugural session and lamp lighting ceremony on July 8, 2025, at Hycinth, Thiruvananthapuram, organized by NeGD. Sri. Sandip Kumar IAS has inaugurated the workshop and dlivered his inaugural address.
K-AI (Kerala - Artificial Intelligence) is a flagship initiative of Government of Kerala, designed to accelerate the adoption of AI across governance,public service delivery, and the innovation ecosystem. The initiative was formally inaugrated by the Hon'ble Chief Seccretary of Kerala on 12th June 2025.
Ksitm Kottayam Team has coordinated a Productivity Improvement Workshop to District Level Govt dept officials using AI tools and 5S Smart Workplace Concept. Hon DC, Sub Collector Kottayam, ADM and other district officers participated.
