eSMS is an exclusive SMS Gateway established by the Kerala State IT Mission for use by various government departments for providing departmental services over mobile phones.
It also provides intra and inter-departmental communication. Out Bound Voice Dialers: In order to provide the facility for the recording of voice prompts, transliteration from English to Malayalam and scheduling of Voice SMS as additional services, a dedicated Out Bound Calling facility has been set up. This centralised platform supports SMS, MMS, USSD, Voice and IVR services.

KSITM also promotes the usage of e-SMS gateway offered as part of the National Mobile Governance Initiative. The platform is provided by C-DAC, Mumbai as per TRAI regulations.
