Kerala State IT Mission had established and has been maintaining the State SMS Gateway through eSMS Portal which is available at https://esms.kerala.gov.in .More than 390 SMS accounts has been created for different State Government Departments in the eSMS Portal and their Bulk SMS requirements were replenished by the Implementing Agency, M/s Valuefirst Digital Media Pvt.Ltd. As the contract with Valuefirst was completed in August 2021, NIC has been entrusted as the new Bulk SMS service Provider.

The kerala.gov.in email ID and password can be used to login to eforms. The SMS Services option from the left panel menu can be chosen to submit the application form for a new Bulk SMS account. Once the form is submitted, the credentials will be shared as en email to the email ID of the applicant. The detailed integration guidelines and instructions are shared in the application page itself.
The DLT registration process is mandatory for sending SMS content. After registering in the DLT Platform,the departments can get the approved Header and templates from the DLT Platform (DLT Registration Procedure and Steps for Header and Template Registration and Approval are attached).Those who have completed the process just need to share the approved Header/Template report with NIC.
