Integrated Call Centre

Citizen Call Centre (CCC) is a single window IT enabled facility of Government that act as an intermediate between citizens and Government to interact effectively through telephone. Envisaged as a government-to-citizen (G2C) interface, the Call Centre enables the quick delivery of critical information, which is otherwise either inaccessible or difficult for the citizens to trace. The relevance of a Government/Public Call Centre is more important in the context of increased focus on e-Governance and with the implementation of the Right to Information Act 2005.

CCC is providing all the services in a 24x7 fashion and working on all calendar days except national holidays. The calls are being answered by a team of Call Centre Executives, who are highly experienced and skilled professionals.

CCC was made operational in 2005 in Thiruvananthapuram is now serving more than 55 Government departments, organisations and projects provides information and complaint registry services for the common people. It is receiving more than thousand numbers of calls daily and there is a knowledge bank data base of 55 Government departments/projects. In addition to general enquiry, CCC also accepts complaints as part of Hon'ble Chief Minister's Sutharyakeralam, Check post complaints, Akshaya, State Consumer Helpline, Kerala Women's Helpline and Aadhaar (UID) related queries also.

KSITM is planning the enhancement of CCC with the objective to increase the services rendered to citizens and also to improve the interaction with the participating departments. The new system has been proposed to transform the existing voice based Contact Centre setup into a State of the Art Contact Centre providing such service delivery channels as email, web portal, social media, online chat, SMS, MMS, FAX etc. along with conventional voice enhanced by VoIP technologies. The Telephone Number allotted to Call Centre is 155300 and the number is available any where from Kerala (with out any code) with a group dialing system consisting 30 lines. The PRI/ ISDN connection provides easy access to the Call centre with out any disturbances.
